Day 01: Srinagar international airport arrivel 13km, 30min drive
Arrive at Srinagar, where you will be met upon arrival and transferred to Houseboat after getting fresh enjoy a shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting Char Chinar, Floating, Vegetable gardens and beautiful view of the lapping dal lake in the Zabarwan mountain range and make a experience of wood carving accommodation lying with the fantastic Persian carpets etc, and then over night at Houseboat.
Day 02:- Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (58km, 2hrs)
After breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg. En Route to the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg, check into hotel after gating fresh begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system from Gulmarg to Kongdori (1st phase) & from Kongdori to Apharwat (2nd) and if time allows have a darshan of Shiva temple located near, then evening back to hotel for overnight
Day 03:- IIn Srinagar (Local Sightseeing ) 45km 7hrs
On the same day after breakfast leave for a city tour beginning with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, offering stunning views of the Srinagar city. Proceed to Mughal Gardens, built by Emperor Shah Jehan you will visit the Shalimar Gardens, Nishat bagh & the Chashmashahi Gardens, known for its fountains and roses. Rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities and then make a check in to the hotel
Day 04:- Srinagar to Kargil Via Sonamarg(223km 6hrs srive height 2680m)
On the same day after breakfast at the hotel. proceed towards Kargil via Sonamarg. So, , leave for your road trip. Sonamarg is known as the “meadow of gold”. The snow-covered mountains of Sonamarg are a beautiful sight to witness. In Sonamarg, you will visit Vishansar Lake, take a drive around the Zoji La Pass and also take a halt at the Shutkari Bridge. Later, you will continue your road trip to Kargil. On the way to Kargil will fall Drass Valley. This is the place where the Kargil war took place and this is the exact location where the Pakistani Army had dropped shells. Post that to enter Kargil there will be a passport check, after which you will enter Kargil. Upon your arrival at your hotel in Kargil, complete your check-in process and take some rest before dinner and a night stay.
DAY 05 :- Kargil to Leh Via Lamayuru(220km 6hrs drive height 3400m)
On the same day After breakfast you will leave for Leh from Kargil via Lamayuru. So, after you finish your breakfast, start your road journey.
In Lamayuru, you will visit the Alchi Monastery and Moonland. The architecture of the monastery will impress you and that’s what makes it a must-visit.
Moonland is a landscape that you can admire on the way to Kargil. Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete your check-in process for a night stay and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 06 : -Inn Leh Local Sightseening
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then head out for a sightseeing tour of Leh. The first destination you will visit in the city is Diskit Gompa or also known as Diskit Monastery. The gompa is the oldest and largest in the region. It is located on a slope of a mountain and hence it overlooks the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Himalayan ranges and also offers the view of the Shayok River.
Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. It is famous for its white dome and holds the relics of Buddha. The architecture of the stupa is what will attract your further. The next destination on your list is the Leh Palace. It is known as ‘Lhachen Palkhar’ and was constructed in the 17th-century. It houses a museum too. In the evening, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner meal and an overnight stay.
DAY 07 : -Leh To Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (161km 5hrs drive height 1000m)
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. At Khardungla, which is the highest motorable road you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain ranges and also experience a camel ride. The snow-covered mountain peaks make of the perfect backdrop, so do not forget to click some memorable pictures. Spend some time at the pass and then continue your road trip to Nubra Valley.
Once you arrive in Nubra Valley check in to your hotel and take some rest before you leave for your sightseeing tour. The first attraction point in the valley is actually an adventure ride of the two-humped Bactrian Camel. This ride is at Hunder village so apart from the camel ride you can also explore the village and interact with the locals. Then you can visit the Panamik Hot Springs. These springs have medicinal properties and hence many tourists from over the world come to visit this destination. After this fun-filled day, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 08 : - Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shayok River(145km 6hrs drive height 4250m)
After breakfast at the hotel in Nubra Valley, you will take a road trip to Pangong via Shayok River. The highlight of the Shayok river is that its water is crystal clear. It feels like you can see right through it. The water is so clear because it originates from the high altitudes of Rimo Glacier. Later, continue your road trip to Pangong Lake. Here you will experience camping, so once you reach your campsite, get settled in and take some rest. The evening will be your leisure time. Spend time at the lake, take an evening walk and explore the surroundings if you like. By night enjoy a steaming hot dinner meal and an overnight stay in camp.
DAY 09 : -Pangong to Leh(224km 6hrs drive height 3500m)
Wake up in the early hours of the day. The view of sunrise at Pangong is spectacular. Enjoy the bliss and capture the moments in photographs. Later, have breakfast, check out of the campsite and drive back to Leh.
Time for yet another road trip and your last one on your Magical Ladakh tour with Kashmir, so make the most of it. Click some beautiful pictures of the journey too, if you wish. Leave for the journey as soon as you finish your breakfast at the hotel. Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete the check-in formalities and then begin your sightseeing tour. If you do not want to go sightseeing, you can also enjoy your free time for the day and visit the local bazaar. If you wish to visit some sightseeing attractions then you can visit the 3 Idiots School and Thiksey Monastery. At night return to the hotel for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 10 : -Leh Airport Transfer
After breakfast This brings you to the end of your Magical Ladakh holiday with Kashmir. Our associate will drop you at the airport in Leh, for your onwards journey back to your home.
